Traditional Indigenous Medicine
Ma Medicina offers ceremonies using Sacred Plant & Animal Medicines: Ayahuasca, Kambo and Bufo Alvarius to clear blockages and welcome in the healing power of Unconditional Love and Oneness.
They say that when we heal ourselves we heal those around us. This proverb offers a beacon of hope in a world clouded by darkness, disease and destruction. We are sick on so many levels.
Spiritually we are disconnected from the Divine. We are bound to everything that exists in the Universe, yet we judge, reject and choose separation, strengthening our individual egos.
Emotionally we are stunted from expressing our deepest fears, hurts and desires. These emotions become trapped within, festering and manifesting as mental anguish and physical disease.
We struggle and don’t know where to turn, but the tools are out there and the answers are buried within us. In spite of our personal histories and traumas, it is every individual’s responsibility to choose the tools that resonate and use them to help restore optimal health and harmony in life.
When we have finally suffered enough and decide to take responsibility for our pain, we begin to liberate ourselves. We recognize our power, our potential and the Divinity that exists within us. We find compassion. We soften, apply a soothing balm to our weeping wounds and nurture our inner child. We learn to show up for ourselves and become better equipped to show up for others and for Mother Earth.
End of Life Companionship
Ma Medicina offers the humbling service of accompanying individuals in their transition to the other side.
When facing death, a person may be confronted by overwhelming fear or have resistance to letting go of their physical incarnation. Sometimes we are prepared, but it is our loved ones who are not ready to see us go. Both can cause great suffering. Death doesn’t have to be this way; we can use it as a reminder to live fully and prepare ourselves to ease into this final stage with acceptance and gratitude.
My hope, as a Death Doula, is to bring support in Spiritual investigation and be of service on the heart level: through ceremony, touch, music, art, meditation, movement, mantra/prayer and outings into nature whenever possible. Through reflection and deep, honest conversation, I hope to soften the edges around death and foster a feeling of peace and surrender. I will support you in dying with confidentiality, consent and an open heart.
